(Full length video at facebook.com/owlmerlin) – Lots of daylight activity today, with two (and possibly a third) of the owlets opening their eyes for the first time! Their balance is also improving, so they can stand up for a few seconds before they flop over. 🙂 You may notice Merlin brought a mouse into the nest last night, and Minerva was busy feeding the owls from the mouse all day long. In other news, the fifth egg is still there, but I think we may not see that one hatch this season.
